Durable solutions to refugee crisis

Situation

We were engaged to conduct a review of a multi-donor fund established to support host communities and refugees to cope with the crisis in the Middle East.

Solution

Through desk research, field visits to Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon and interviews with key stakeholders and beneficiaries, we provided an assessment of the performance by the supported partners.

Outcome

The review provided strategic direction for the multi-donor fund including how to link up with other instruments in the region to scale-up innovative, durable solutions. Based on the review findings and recommendations, the multi-donor fund had its timeframe extended and budget increased.
